La chaleur est enfin arrivée à Montréal et après un hiver long et rigoureux où j'ai consommé plus que ma part de thé et boissons chaudes, voici que les drinks glacés apparaissent chez moi sous toutes ses formes.
J'espère que j'aurais l'occasion de boire autant de boissons glacés ...
Ce thé est d'une simplicité enfantine et complètement addictif. Si vous êtes fan de thé, je vous recommande de doubler la recette pour vous assurer d'en avoir toujours sous la main ...
THÉ THAÏ GLACÉ
Thai iced tea
Ingrédients :
4 poches de thé noir
4 tasses d'eau
3/4 tasse de sucre
La main à la pâte :
Dans un grand chaudron, porter l'eau à ébullition.
Attacher les poches ensemble et attacher sur le bord du chaudron pour les récupérer facilement.
Plonger le thé.
Ajouter le sucre et brasser pour dissoudre.
Laisser bouillir le thé doucement 3 minutes et retirer du feu.
Laisser infuser 30 minutes pour un thé bien corsé.
Transférer dans un pichet et laisser refroidir.
Conserver au réfrigérateur.
Pour déguster, remplir un verre de glaçons.
Verser 2-3 parts de thé pour une part de moitié-moitié ou du lait moussé.
Moitié-moitié maison (half and half) :
Pour une tasse (250 ml)
125 ml de lait entier
125 ml de crème liquide
Verdict : délectable ! Tchin !
